What to Carry: During a gorilla trekking experience, it’s important to pack essential items such as:
- Sturdy hiking boots
- Long-sleeved shirts and trousers to protect against vegetation and insects
- Rain jacket or poncho

- Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
- Day packs for carrying water, snacks, and camera equipment

- If you cancel your permit more than 90 days before the trekking date, you may be eligible for a partial refund, but the specific amount can vary.
- Cancellations made within 90 days of the trekking date typically result in no refund or a very limited refund, as the permit is often considered non-refundable.
